Investigators have determined that 24-year-old Aaron Driver, the suspect involved in a national security investigation died of a gunshot wound.
On Wednesday, August 10th, members of the RCMP responded to a home in Strathroy after receiving ‘credible information’ of a potential terrorist threat.
When they arrived, they found a man outside the home, and during a confrontation with police the suspect died.
Driver’s remains were transported to the coroner’s office in Toronto for examination.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service continue to jointly investigate the incident under the direction of OPP CIB, Detective Inspector Brad Nunn.
