Editors Note: Environment Canada dropped its severe thunderstorm warning for London at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for London and the rest of southwestern Ontario.
The AM980 Gerrie Electric Storm Centre is tracking a line of thunderstorms that’s extending from Chatham-Kent to Grand Bend.
Environment Canada says these thunderstorms are moving east at 60 km/h and are capable of producing very strong wind gusts with up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

The national weather agency says heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
