The dream of a lifetime will come true for someone in our region Tuesday morning.
Officials with the Dream Lottery will be awarding their biggest prizes.
The winner of the 50/50 draw will be announced at 8:45a.m., followed by the Ultimate Grand Prize draw at 9a.m.
A number of other prize winners will also be drawn throughout the day Tuesday.
For the first time, a container home (pictured) built by Hillier Contracting Inc. in Bayfield is among the top prizes. The upscale home repurposes eight shipping containers and features other environmentally friendly materials. London-based design and home staging company Upstaging Limited is behind the unique design.
The Grand Prize winner can also opt for the north London Bridlewood home located at 90 Pebblecreek that comes complete with a Lexus RX in the driveway and $200,000.
The third Grand Prize home is a Domus North Point Modern Loft Condo in north London on Fiddlehead Place plus $400,000 cash.
The fourth and final option is $1,000,000 cash.
Besides the luxury homes, expensive cars, and exotic trips, the Dream Lottery is an opportunity for Londoners to raise money for special programs, and research that will directly improve patient care.
The Dream Lottery has raised just over $27 million since 1996 to support London Health Sciences Centre, Children’s Hospital at LHSC, and St. Joseph’s Health Care London.
