We’ll get some sweet relief from the extreme heat this weekend.
A heat warning issued by Environment Canada earlier this week for much of southwestern Ontario has been lifted.
Today will still be quite hot and humid though, with the mercury climbing to 29 degrees, feeling like 37 with the humidex.
Rain is also expected throughout much of the day, with the potential for thunderstorms this afternoon.
There’s currently no watches or warnings in effect.
On Saturday, the forecast is calling for a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of showers, and a high of 25 degrees.
A mainly sunny sky is expected on Sunday, with a high of 26 degrees.
