Voices.com is planning to make a move to the Bell building at 100 Dundas Street to accommodate the company’s need for space.
Chief Executive David Ciccarelli stated that the business contains over 120 employees and more space is required in order to grow.
“(It) is right across from Budweiser Gardens,” Ciccarelli said. “It’s 45,000-square-feet and we’re excited about the new office space and what that entails for the future of our company.”
The acre of office space is almost triple the size of their location at 150 Dufferin Avenue.
“We are finding that we are already on 2 floors. It would have increased to 3 or 4 different floors within the current building. With a few thousand square feet pocketed here and there.” Ciccarelli said. “So (we are) looking for a longer-term plan. Still being in the core, but ideally on the same floor plate.”
Ciccarelli stated that he is confident that they will be able to grow into the new location as they have with their current building.
“Our first spot was in the research park up at Western,” Ciccarelli said. “In about 5 or 6 years after that, we came downtown and we have been there for the last several. We are now looking for a great home for the future for the next 10 years.”
For the employees working at Voices.com, Ciccarelli stated that their proximity to the new location will allow them to be closer to work and make it easier to get to work.
Cirrarelli admitted that moving to the new location is ambitious, but that he is confident that the company will triple in size to approximately 300 employees.
