A London man and Middlesex Centre man have been identified as the victims in a fatal dirt bike collision.
Middlesex OPP responded to the head on crash Twelve Mile Road between Vanneck Road and Denfield Road at around 10:48 p.m. Friday to a report of a dirt bike crash.
The investigation revealed two dirt bikes were travelling in opposite directions along Twelve Mile Road when they collided. Neither vehicle had headlights and neither driver was wearing a helmet. Both were ejected from the dirt bikes and pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, OPP identified the victims as 22-year-old Cody Noble of London and 19-year-old Austin Newman of Middlesex Centre.
Condolences have been pouring in for the two young men.
“Cody was such a genuine, kindhearted and special man” said one post while another described Austin as “such a nice boy, full of energy and kindness”.
Visitation for Newman is set for Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Haskett Funeral Home in Lucan with the memorial service set for Wednesday at the Ilderton Arena.
Noble’s visitation services are scheduled for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Westview Funeral Chapel in London with a celebration of his life set for Friday at 3 p.m. at the same location.
