London Police say they came up empty handed following a search in the city’s east end for two suspects wanted in relation to a shooting investigation.
Officers with the Uniformed Division and Emergency Response unit were searching a residence on Cecilia Avenue Sunday morning in relation to the shooting.
Cecilia Ave. was closed down to the public in the area of the residence.
Police say as they entered the residence, it was determined there was no threat to the public, and Cecilia Ave. was reopened just after 4:30 p.m.
Neither William Dwayne McDonald (25) or Samater Ali (26) have been arrested, however police efforts to locate and arrest them continue.
The suspects, both of London, are charged with aggravated assault, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and discharge firearm with intent to wound/endanger life.
The victim of last Friday’s shooting, which occurred in a parking lot behind Barney’s, is still listed in critical condition.
Police are asking members of the public to contact them with any information or tips that may assist the investigation.
The public is reminded not to approach the suspects as they are considered armed and dangerous.
