London police are calling the discovery of two bodies at separate locations in the Old South area a murder-suicide.
Officers were called to an apartment at 71 Grand Avenue at 5:31 p.m. Friday over concern for the welfare of a resident. Upon arrival, police discovered the body of a woman inside a unit.
Further investigation led officers to a business at 201 High St. at the corner of Emery St. Police entered the location at 8:44 p.m. where they found the body of man.
Police had indicated that the two deceased were known to one another and officers weren’t seeking any suspects in connection with the investigation.
Police say they will not be releasing the identities of the deceased individuals at this time in light of the family’s request for privacy. Both scenes have been cleared, however the investigation is ongoing.
