A pilot in Lambton county suffered minor injuries Saturday, after in-flight aircraft problems forced an emergency landing in an agricultural field.
Emergency crews, including Lambton OPP, St. Clair Township Fire, and Lambton EMS were called to the scene in the 2200 block of Oil Springs Line, about 17.5 km east of Courtright, around 11 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the male pilot, name and age unreleased, was the lone person on board the aircraft at the time.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. No one on the ground was injured.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and Transport Canada has been notified of the incident.
